Sorry to hear about you grief with harley Benton and the duff guitar.ir should not have sent to you in that condition.however it has helped me Make a decision.I was going to purchase a guitar and case from HB but I am not going to do so now I have found a couple I like with Glarry guitars And cheaper.so HB have lost my business.you have my deepest sympathies with your plight and I hope you resolve your issues with HB.if you Like you can mention it has lost them a sale from me due to their shabby treatment of you.it won’t do them a lot of good having people reading about your problem with them but it has helped me from making a similar mistake.I will tell friends of mine about it and they can make their own decisions as to whether to buy anything from HB.I have a brand new HB dc 120e jumbo from them which I now want to dispose of.it’S mint but I don’t want any HB products in my house after this.it’s the old story,you get what you pay for.Any way all the best and I would hazard a guess other People will have seen your non review and are thing twice about buying from HB. alecbellamy

Saw you review and was impressed.I was thinking about a t52 or te30 but not now the only thing i am not keen is the colour I would like it Whieor red with a maplefretboard but I see they offer a red one with maplefret board so that look lik me sorted,if it sounds the same as yours. The vineer is purely cosmetic, but it doesn't mean it can't have a plain maple cup underneath!

Totally agree with you about Peter Green not heard a great deal of his music will probably have to remedy that but what i've heard a fabulous guitar player lovely tone as you say. These talented people in music the arts actors painters writers dare i say gifted footballers they seem to be blessed and cursed at the same time god given talent but troubled people it's sad. Loved Paul Kossoff but dead at 25 just sad. Regarding the Harley Benton SC450 plus i have one too in the Honeyburst finish i think the same colour as yours had it almost a year now it's really nice. Think your right about it having a maple cap not taken mine apart to look but it definitely appears to have a cap which for this price is crazy as in crazy good. Love the content please keep it up. Peter Green was a legend, for sure! I have that exact same guitar in that exact color. I love mine! I set it up to my own specs and never had to change out any of the stock hardware or electronics. It's been a solid performer that I've had since Spring 2019.😎🎸👍

Hi Mark. Recent Subscriber. Just got mine today on the strength of your review. Kinda nice metallic blue white pickgaurd. £80 and it doesn't feel cheap when you pick it up. Feels no way as inexpensive as a Squire guitar

Who could resist a bit of the Green eyed monster ? You nailed the sound perfectly.

Mine turned up today Mark. Pretty good first impressions. I like the pick-ups and although I don't find the neck too "fat" at all as Dave Simpson did, the very flat radius takes a bit of getting used to.

the back of the neck looks satin finished, despite the looks of it on the website. Not that I want to keep bragging about it but they should at least adjust some of their photos.
